Canada to Ireland: WHV

Hi all! Currently am in college and although I have about a year left I've been looking at what I want to do afterwards. For quite a while its always been my dream to travel Ireland, even Europe so I decided to search up information about opportunities for Canadians to work in Ireland and stumbled up the working holiday visa. I just wanted to ask (Canadians or Irish citizens) what were your experiences with this? Was it worth it? Was it difficult to apply for or get to Ireland? I know there's been issues of housing availability, is that still a big factor when living and working in Ireland? Very appreciative of any help or insight you can provide!
