No steam acheivement pop up when streaming

I use my steam deck to stream from my pc using a virtual monitor. The experience has been pretty phenomenal so far except when i get a steam achievement. I hear the steam achievement pop up sound but the achievement doesn't visually show up. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I enjoy achievement hunting and the satisfaction when i get an achievement so would love to fix this.
