Best Arguments Against Spanking

Drop them below, please. My daughter is 3, doing all the typical 3 year old things, and I could use some ammo against the notion that she should be spanked.

Edited for clarity: I am not considering spanking my daughter. I am in a situation where I need to advocate against it for her. She has never been spanked and it is my intention to keep it that way.
