When does it start?

This is my first pregnancy/miscarriage. I don’t know what to expect. I went in to my OB appointment yesterday expecting to go over blood work and have an ultrasound. I was 11 weeks as of yesterday. When it came to the ultrasound, my doctor told me the baby was only measuring around 9 weeks. She also told me there was no heartbeat… So now, I don’t know what to expect. Like when does it happen?? My OB told me if it doesn’t happen naturally before my appointment on Wednesday we will go over options. But, I honestly just want it over with. My heart hurts, and I feel like the longer this goes on with nothing happening, the harder my heart hurts. My body thinks I’m pregnant, but my baby has passed. I’m so so sad and confused. I just need insight. Thank you.
