High paying physical job OR government office job with pension
Title says most of it. I’m 38 and I have an opportunity to make $120,000-$150,000 and 100% 401K match up to 5% in job that consists of working 3-4 nights a week, driving a truck and unloading freight by hand. Or keep my current 7am-3pm government job with a pension where I make $50,000 and I can go up to $70,000 in a few years. Health insurance and other benefits are similar.
Edit:Government job is office only, no physical work, weekends and holidays off. The other job is night shift, physically demanding, exposed to the elements and all that.
