Worst "metal" take from a non-metal person

Why you say? Listening to one of my local radio stations the DJ introduced the next song as speed metal. Understanding the station format, I was thinking maybe Judas Priest, the song was 'Tie Your Mother Down'. How does one even equate that with metal, much less speed metal?
