What albums from the past 10-20 years would you recommend to a classic metal fan?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I am new to the sub. I fell off keeping up with metal in the mid-2000s. I am familiar with most of the classics in most subgenres up to that point. My taste skews towards the traditional, melodic, and progressive (Metallica, Sabbath, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden), and not so much the harsh and extreme unless it has some of the previous elements (for example, I like Opeth, At the Gates, Dissection, In Flames, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, Death, Carcass). As far as newer metal, I just haven't heard a lot that I've liked, although I enjoy Katatonia's recent output quite a bit, the Insomnium I've listened to I liked, and I've heard some tech/ death that was intriguing (Archspire, Tomb Mold). But for the most part I know nothing. What would you recommend?
