Estradiol or Estriol Cream for the face??

Trying to sort out the conflicting info I’m getting about topical Estradiol and Estriol cream for the face! I want to try one ASAP.

I know that Estriol is weaker than Estradiol but some claim that Estriol cream is more effective on the face and others say vice versa. Which one have you found most effective?

I also read in a different sub that vaginal Estradiol cream on the face can cause hyperpigmentation?? (I’ve never heard any doctor mention this risk). Curious if others have experienced hyperpigmentation with topical Estradiol??

I already have a prescription of 0.01% vaginal estradiol cream at home (generic Estrace - which I think is plant based estrogen) and I’m curious if others use this on their face and how often?

……..I’m not interested in buying one of those super expensive Estriol face creams from some skincare company with added ingredients. I just want the estrogen - a bio identical version. (NOT synthetic Premarin)

I’m 43, in peri, so I’m not concerned about minor systemic absorption since I can use the estrogen anyway. Already been taking oral progesterone for 2 years. Haven’t added systemic estrogen yet.

***but HOLY COW did I notice systemic absorption during the first two weeks loading dose of the vaginal estradiol cream!! First time in a year that my joy in life came back and I felt like my old self again!!! 😌
