Nothing triggers and brings out our own ego's like other people's egos.

This is hardly a unique insight and is probably one of the most obvious of all things but it's still something I think that is useful to keep in mind and a way of looking at it that I don't think I have until more recently.

So often when we encounter someone else's ego, especially if it's hyper inflated and in our face and bothering us, all we want to do is fume as say "can you believe what a complete A!@<$ that person was!". And I think it can be useful at these moments to recognize this as our own ego getting worked up and we can say "ahhh, yes". "Just like me".
