Feeling like a neutered dog. Horn problems

The horn in my 2016 Toyota Sienna isn't working. I checked the fuse and it's fine. The next move is opening up the steering wheel and checking in there. I know the airbag is an issue. Is this something I can tackle or should I leave it to the experts?
