I must apologize (just this once! Harumph!)
A lot of us, myself included, have both love and hate for the company's namesake, and for the figures it produces. I usually come down decidedly on the hate side.
The figures have laughable ab crunch! The poses suck! Joints look weird! Bad proportions! Huge diapers! They're statues that have had joints awkwardly added to them!
I have argued all this and more. But being a collector, you're gonna end up with a McFarlane figure eventually if you like DC characters in the 2020's.
The first DC Multiverse thing I bought since I've come back to collecting was the Superman two pack with Ultraman. Man, did it bear out those complaints. Terrible figures. But recently, I got this Batman...
Guys, I love him! Look at those poses! They're dynamic af and look great, if I do say so myself! And some of them can even be pulled off using only the dinky little stand that the figure comes with!
Now, I'm not saying I take it all back. Not by a long shot. But this figure right here is admittedly blowing my very low expectations out of the water. As such, I feel an apology is in order:
Some DC Multiverse figures are great.
There, I said it. Anyone else going through a similar process with these figures?
