I just finished reading Maze Cutter...[SPOILERS]

So I just finished reading the Maze Cutter book and I just wanna hear your thoughts on it. DONT READ ON IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED / DON"T WANT TO BE SPOILED

So basically, the descendants of the OG Maze runner gang thrived and all but Frypan are dead now because of old age, and now we have new protagonists like Isaac, Sadina and Jackie and Alexandra.

While I understand that Newt's book got into the hands of the immunes on the island, how on earth did Newt get so widely known by the people in the old world? I mean, sure Wicked is probably the only people there who would know Newt but it seems strange that that information would spread so widely in the old world.

Next, even though we know Sonya's real name is Lizzy / Elizabeth from Fever Code, I am still surprised that everyone even till now refers to her as Sonya, considering that she got back her memories in Death Cure, so she should know what her real name actually is and probably would tell the rest.

My last criticism is that I still do not understand why Alexandra thinks that Nicholas is so much of a threat that she has to go through lots of shit just to get him killed and take his head. The story didn't seem to accomplish much and merely focused on how she has to calm herself down when she talks to him bla bla bla, but its not very clear why she is even scared in the first place.

I do love some of the new characters that were inserted into the series, especially Roxy and the Orphan Minho, it was really interesting to follow on their stories.

Overall, I really like the book so far, although I really wish there were more past references to the OG gang; we never see or hear about what possibly happened to OG Minho, Brenda, Jorge, Harriet and Aris. Did they have descendants, are they still alive? I am really curious to know.
