Service time vs MLB readiness

So Mather’s resigned. Okay. But does anyone else feel that the M’s will be pressured now to start both Gilbert and Kelenic on Opening day?

It’s not a completely false argument to say that they both might need more time in the minors.. but now this decision will be scrutinized all the more and as a result, the two prospects could be called up too early. Thoughts?
