100 days later update

Made that post exactly 100 days ago after getting dumped.

Since then, I have: gone to the emergency psych hospital twice, changed my meds and got back into regular therapy, and I had to spend thanksgiving in jail after damaging property during a mental health break. Through all of that, I somehow managed to complete my fall 2024 semester of school.

About a week ago I moved back in with my parents. While I’m less than stoked to be 28 and living at home for the first time in 7 years - I am incredibly thankful to have parents I can lean on. I know not everybody has that privilege.

Excuse my mess, but the garage at home is not attached to the house and is two stories - the second story is a finished apartment with a full bathroom. It’s nice to have my own space here. It’s also nice to have the treadmill - I can still get my runs in even if I don’t want to go outside in these upper Midwest winters lol.

I am also thankful that both my university and academic advisor have been so understanding. Despite being an in-person student, they are allowing me to complete my final semester remotely. I will still be graduating on time this upcoming May. I also submitted my first job application for my field about an hour ago. Hopefully in another 100 days I can post another update from my own place.

Anyone out there who is currently going through it, just know that it will get better. You got this!
