I just got madden 25 on old gen

Why do they even bother to still release on old gen? (Ps4) I just got madden 25 expecting a whole new game. But it's the same ui, graphics and no new Kickoff. I get it, I should've already upgraded by now. But why would they release the game on old gen if we're gonna get the exact same thing. Stop people from wasting their money and wanting refunds like me. I don't get it.
