My Experience With the First Public Betas
I installed the first public betas of macOS 14, iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and watchOS 10 on all my primary devices the day they were released. I am happy to report that everything I have tested on my Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch works fine. The only glitch I have experienced is Mail showing blank message content occasionally, but restarting Mail fixes it every time. It has been, by far, the best beta experience I have ever had with Apple's software.
For those interested, on my Mac, the third-party software that works fine for me includes the latest versions of GoodNotes, BBEdit, Sublime Text, Skim, Adobe Illustrator 2023, Pixelmator Pro, Mathematica, Matlab, Forecast Bar, RunCat, iStat Menus, Oink, FastScripts, Carbon Copy Cloner, Neptunes, Alfred, Downlink, Grammarly, Bartender, Excel, Word, AppCleaner, Time Machine Schedule, and Notchmeister.
Feel free to let me know if you are curious about any other apps or iOS or iPad apps.
