Mac OS Sequoia problems with Safari: "This web page was reloaded because a problem occurred"

I know this problem has surfaced before, but not for me: in Sequoia, Safari stops loading web pages after a day or so. Instead, it displays "this web page was reloaded because a problem occurred" without actually showing the page contents (the page keeps reloading …). Unlike more common instances of this error, the page won’t actually load until I restart.

Have others seen this issue as well?
