Black Diamond Change Ticket

I have two of these. Is it better to max out special upgrade training on diamond player before converting to Black diamond or does the conversion to Black max out that training?

I'm FTP - 110 OVR w/Gear and have one Black Diamond in Pedro 05 w/Mets
