Did anyone catch the GTA reference?

There’s a mission on San Andreas called “burning desire” where you have to burn a rival gang’s building down but end up having to save a girl from the same building. I know the burningdesire site had this same photo on there, and the cd is modeled after the San Andreas disc case. But I wonder how much it’s all tied in together. Revenge, violent fire, love. (She ends up being Denise, the love interest in the game) Wether it was just a reference in passing or if it’s all some big thing, idk but it’s fun to think about.
