I liked Joey Essex in the villa

Seems like everyone disliked him and I can see why. But I actually enjoyed having him on this season. I do get why everyone has it in for him but let's be honest, without joey this season would have been boring af. Apart from maybe the ayo mimi/Jessica situation, there was nothing really going on. Joey was the sole entertainer, even though annoying at times but my main reason for continuing to watch all 57 episodes.

I think most of what he says is actually true and honest, even though delivered in a horrible way that doesn't really need to be said but at least he's honest and voices his opinion. What's wrong with that.

Him and Samantha situation, we all knew wouldn't last on day 1, but he's right, you ain't bf/gf when you couple up. You couple up cause you like them, and you want to give it a shot, but later he obviously found a better connection with grace and good on him. And when jess walked in, she's amazing. Has Joeys back, sensible, mature and she's smart, has good social intelligence, which is exactly the type of girl Joey needs to even him out. She's totally wifey material. He absolutely made the right choice with her, I would of done the same. They are far better suited than Samantha or Grace. And if jessy walked into the villa from the start he wouldn't of been jumping through all these girls to find the one. The reason they gave about jess not being able to live up to his busy lifestyle was bullshit too, if you want to make the relationship work they will find the time, just like any other couple.

TL;DR. Joey made the right decision with Jess, he could of been less annoying but the season would of been dead as if he wasn't creating all the drama.

And as a side note, I'm glad Mimi and josh won, I think both matilda and Sean, and Nicole and ciaran are coupled just to win, I don't see them lasting more than a year. Ayo and Jessica are good tho
