“Only spoke when spoken to”
Ayo explained on The Morning After, when asked about being a man of few words, that being from his(Nigerian) household, he only spoke when spoken to.
That’s the vibe that i got pretty early on, so his approach did make sense to me. He’s not very forthcoming with his emotions or reassurance. So i think lack of cultural awareness from the public is what set them back. I think that being with Jess, who is really well spoken about her feelings, this’ll be huge growth for Ayo
Ayo and Jess have to be one of the most beautiful connections i’ve seen come out of Love Island. They’re so in sync and have this trusting and peaceful aura.
I suggest you guys watch them on The Morning After, you can see they have the truest chemistry and depth amongst the final couples.
Not to sound like a hater, but Ayo and Jess are my truest example of black love this season. Partly cause they are actually in love.
Disappointingly, when Josh was asked if he’ll be asking Mimii to be his girlfriend anytime soon, his response was that ‘he loves that the public loves them together’ … I’ll leave that as explanation of how i feel about them winning
