Wrongfully Terminated
I worked for my local school district for 7 years. Never been in trouble for anything, always had decent to good annual evaluations, and then very suddenly things turned for the worse. I've been looking for a lawyer for almost 2 years and have been turned away every time. I do not know why I cannot get justice for what had happened to me.
My bosses forced me to remain in a hostile work environment, and made it so my work was impossible to complete. Not doubling my workload, but nearly quadrupling it and without extra help to accommodate for this expanded workload change. I was bullied and threatened by not only my bosses but also by fellow staff whom I worked with. They did absolutely everything in their power to get me to quit on my own, but I refused, because I knew what they were doing was illegal and wrong. I've received a passive aggressive letter from my coworker telling me that I should go somewhere else. Another coworker referred to me as "the devil" right to my face, and the superintendent did nothing about it. Not even talked to her about it. My name was drug through every kind of mud they could find, and they allowed all of it to occur and basically pointed fingers at me as being the real problem.
In April, I was pulled out from a training class and told I was to be terminated. I lost my job, and have been unable to find anyone to help me since. I believe that there was a backdoor agreement that was made. As soon after I was terminated, the superintendent asked for a raise and then months later retired. All I want is my day in court. I want to expose absolutely everything that the school district put me through and wrongfully so. I want to question those people who bullied, threatened and harassed me and helped me get pushed out of the door faster from the job that I cared about.
