Entering a Storm

So i updated the game and been lvl up my new camp for the storm chasers and one quest made me go in the storm so i went with my airship but i thought once the countdown would end i would start losing health but i got teleport mid air outside the storm without my ship. Cant seem to see it up in the storm either anyone knows whats up?
