Skeleton near Kyrgyz-Chinese Border
Hey Folks! Wanted to share a not-so-normal incident from my recent visit near Kel-suu Lake. So after horseriding from Kok Kiya Valley, we had opted to go to the other end of the Kel-suu lake via boat ride. We spotted a nearby land-able shore, leading to a cave. As per the locals, this is a bear cave. Out of sheer curiosity, we attempted a steep hike to this bear cave to explore a lil bit. Although fortunately we didn't encounter any bear, we encountered a few mountain skeletal remains and to our astonishment- a human skeleton in a pit. Chill ran through our spine a little bit. The cave turned out much deeper and longer than we thought. It was getting too difficult to see inside as we went deeper. However, we ran out of time and had to come back.
Has anyone been here before and can validate this? What do you think it could have been? Did we encounter an archaeological finding? Did someone fall prey? Did someone went missing recently? We aren't sure.
But one thing's for sure. This was the most unforgettable part of my Kyrgyzstan trip.
