I just burnt a giant pot of clam chowder.

It was fish fry day, I was making an awesome clam chowder to go along with it. Between 3 huge deliveries coming in today, one of my closing cooks calling out sick. I forgot about the soup reducing. Man that smell of burnt heavy cream. There's no saving that. I'm just ranting cause I wanted to shove my head in the fryer once I smelled it burnt. I quickly made a vegetable medley soup with whatever I had in the walk in.
