will the pandemonium tour even happen? lets talk about it..
With the cancelations of the Lil Baby arena tour and the Lil Durk arena tour, it had me curious to check up on how the pandemonium tour is doing and it quite had me shocked.
Ticket sales are astronomically low. Especially for the tour occurring within the next couple months, and with hundreds of tickets being listed on resale sites like stubhub and vividseats.
We have to ask ourselves what happened to cause ticket sales to be this low and will the tour be canceled?
- the glimpse of us "tiktok" hype died
- smithereens was poorly received by the general public and with no new music / album on the horizon people are hesitant
- joji just did a full na tour for smithereens and two shows in NYC and LA just this year and last year with similar openers. ticket prices for those shows were in the 40 - 100 dollar range and in smaller venues, people don't want to pay more for an arena show for an artist they've just seen with no new album out.
In my opinion unfortunately, the tour is probably going to be canceled within the next month as decreasing capacity or moving venues doesn't seem like a possibility for the amount of tickets sold / unsold.
