Moved on from payslips, now asking for gross pay amounts.
Heya. I'm with a disability provider. I've become incredibly wary of any of them since my first one (not disability related) did nothing but pressure me into working more hours and apply for jobs I couldn't do.
I was moved from the new disability provider's Job Search Co. to a Support Co. when they established that I'm not looking for work (I already have a job, I can't increase my hours).
I said no to providing payslips for this job as I don't see why they need to be even further up my ass than they already are. This morning, I was asked instead to provide my gross pay amounts (for the last however many weeks) so they can line things up on their end since I get a variable rate - that's what was said, anyway.
Is this the exact same ploy?
I still don't understand why they would need this. She frames it as them checking I'm being paid correctly. That feels like...barely a truth.
Is there any validity to them asking for my gross pay amounts? Or are they just vacuuming pennies?
So far they've just taken up my time. I have a nice chat with the Support Co once a week but otherwise they basically just survey me weekly.
