Is it okay that I celebrate Hanukkah?

Last year, I took a 23andMe test, and it came back saying that I was 29% Ashkenazi Jewish. I am 20 years old and had no idea until I was 18 that I was Jewish, because I have no connection to my father or his family. So- last year I celebrated Hanukkah to honor my ancestors. I lit my first Menorah and I was so happy. I don’t know much about Hanukkah, other than the fact that it’s the celebration of light and it’s also a celebration for the second temple. But, then I got to thinking- is it okay that I do this? I’m not Jewish, I was born and raised Catholic. Am I wrong for doing this? Is it disrespectful?
