Alaska work in the spring
I called the local 751 office in Anchorage, Alaska about work this since coming from the clusterfuck that was Calvert, Alabama. They told me they don't have anything currently however, they do have work at a mancamp doing 7-10's coming up in spring. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience up there at that hall or just with a mancamp in general. What's it like? Is it worth going for a few months and dragging up or even staying a year to collect money? Or is it a bad idea and not even worth the trip? I'm alright with the idea of weather but I'm concerned about the logistics of getting there and going to work everyday, eating and all that jazz. For reference I've been working out of 798 in Mobile so this will be very out of my comfort zone and I'm looking for any and all opinions on the matter before I make a decision. Thanks all, stay greasy.
