This sub is underutilized and *Frank Costanza voice* I gotta lot of problems with you people!

I admittedly have no idea how this post will come off but please know it’s well intentioned.

I found out about IONQ the day they went public via SPAC. I did my research on what Quantum Computing is knowing it was an evolving technology in a deeply complex academic area. I researched the company diligently.

I decided this was an investment because I felt that quantum computing is going to fundamentally reshape the way the global economy functions. I don’t know if IONQ will win in the long run. My research tells me they have a damn fine chance at it. Hence the investment.

I pose a challenge to this sub because I think IONQ is doing super cool work and I want to follow it for the next 20 years (and get filthy rich if the company maintains success).

My challenge is this: we shouldn’t be a community like Atlas trading talking about profit and trades and such. We should educate each other about what quantum computing is and why IONQ is a fascinating investment opportunity.

To aid my challenge, I pose a question: Why did you invest in IONQ? Share your diligence! Educate all of us while explaining your thesis!
