in the latest (and last) “Into the Rabbit Hole” podcast, Kelly Chase says she stopped pursuing the Skinwalker Ranch story because it was “too dark”. what was she referring to?

this was a great podcast and a great final episode. i think she really encapsulates the journey many go on with the topic in her work, and the last episode very closely reflects how i’m currently feeling, over a decade in. i’ve watched the skinwalker ranch show but haven’t read the knapp book. does anyone know what dark element she is referring to?
