really bad fps drops after using camera?

After this update I started having this weird issue where if I go into camera mode suddenly the game stops running at like 100 average fps and suddenly drops to like 20. This doesn't fix itself if I leave the camera and only goes back to normal if I teleport. It's extremely annoying as I really love the camera feature, but this is sorta ruining it. Anyone know what might becausing this?
