Sometimes I'm not very bright

My ten year old was playing Nikki for a bit. They are dyslexic, so I often have to help them read the instructions or explain what they need to do. So I was telling them that, for these Whimstars, you need to find a star in the highlighted area. They immediately put it together, and pointed out, "Oh, right, because that's just the yarn, and you need to put the star into it."

Oh... holy shit.

This is not, like, revelatory, but I never would've put that together.
