The Cowlitz Indian Tribe will receive $15 million from the fed gov't to install EV charging ports across six tribal sites

The Cowlitz Indian Tribe will receive $15 million to install 172 EV charging ports across six tribal sites in Washington and Oregon. Each site will also include chargers for e-bikes and e-scooters. The locations, chosen for their strategic importance along key travel corridors in rural and disadvantaged communities, are designed for future expansion.

This is funded by the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
