[WeWantOut] 29F/29F Mixed Profession UK -> Aus

Currently in Australia on a tourist visa, returning the 2nd of September but can delay up to 2 months or leave the country and apply for a longer visa etc.

My partner has been set on the move since doing a 2 year working holiday and this holiday is a taster for me to see if I would consider it. Absolutely fallen in love with the country and have begun to look into visas and potential jobs.

Our background:

I'm a UK registered pharmacist with 6 years experience but want to move away from this, completed an Environmental Engineering degree in January. Yet to pursue this but have received various job offers in the UK mainly focusing on pharmaceuticals in wastewater.

Partner is currently completing a PhD focused on sustainable food systems, has 2 masters degrees one in archaology/anthropology and another in environmental science. She has 1.5 years left in this.

Looking to make the move for myself as soon as possible with her hopefully following upon completion of her studies!

Spoken to various people who have completed the move who recomended leaving to apply for working holiday and using a recruiter for roles but wanted a wider opinion on this.

Ideally would relocate to Queensland or elsewhere on the east coast.

Many thanks in advance for any advice or tips on the best routes to achieve this
