[WeWantOut] 27M Software Engineer 25F Iraq -> Anywhere

Hello,

Me (27M) and my wife (25F) both hold a BSc in Computer Science from an Iraqi university. I'm active in the field, currently working as a Software Engineer for a US-based startup remotely.

We are looking to find a job and settle somewhere nice, a place where we can grow, find Software Engineering jobs easily, and not live paycheck to paycheck, saving some cash on the side as well.

We are multilingual if that's of any use, I'm pretty fluent in (Turkish, Arabic, English), whereas my wife is fluent in (Turkish, Arabic, and can read & write in English).

I have a < 1 year old experience in my current remote job, so I don't really count as a senior engineer, I'm still at the junior level. I've asked my employer for relocation and H1-B support for the US, but they told me they don't have such plans not now nor in the future for relocation support, so, I'm on my own.

We could also choose the MSc route, we can study our Master's abroad on a student visa, but the only country where we can nearly afford is Germany, due to the free/low cost university fees, and before settling on Germany, I really want to hear other opinions and ideas.

We both know, it's going to be a difficult adventure at first, and we might not adapt easily, but we are willing to put in the effort.
