Trigger warning - pregnancy

**EDIT: I'm really sad to say that this morning my tests were negative. I think it must have been a CP. I honestly thought my luck was changing but we all know that this stuff is random. I will try to hold onto the fact that we made it this far for the first time ever. Maybe next time it will work out. Sending strength to you all.**

My partner (41M) and I (42F) were due to begin stims for our second round of ICSI this week. This forum was a lifesaver in the first round we had in August, which resulted in 3 fertilised eggs, one transfer at day 3 and no day 5 blastocysts from the others, and a negative result after the TWW.

My period was a few days late this week which is really unusual - I took a pregnancy test. It showed a very faint line, so we went out and bought a digital test and lo and behold, I am 4 weeks' pregnant.

I am obviously terrified of the risk of mc but I just also can't help being amazed that against all odds, one of his swimmers (who like to swim in circles apparently and not very far) made it to one of my eggs (which are old and probably wonky) and stuck together even for a few weeks.

In a weird way I want this post to bring all of us hope, no matter what the outcome is for me over the next few weeks.
