Give it to me straight

Went in for my second ultrasound today, I’m 7w5d but measuring 6w1d. There was a heartbeat today but the rate was 82. At my first ultrasound, I was 6w5d and measuring 5w5d and no heartbeat. My doctor said she can’t legally tell me what would be best because there is a heart beat now. She said I can continue meds and come back in a week for an ultrasound or stop meds and see if I miscarry. I’m at loss of what to do and it hurts that there is a heart beat now. I doubt there’s any success stories out there but maybe just some advice? I was trying to avoid a D&C if possible but I also don’t want to “give up” yet. My dates are exact because it’s IVF
