what are the chances?

i’m thinking of becoming a lone soldier but the only thing stopping me is putting my loved ones (mostly my mum) in that situation of worry 24/7. so basically i need an honest answer like what are the chances of me getting into a bad injury or even death in idf operations? i want to do combat and i think i can get into a good unit. probably oketz or shaldag… even if i do tzanchanim etc what are the chances?
