HyperX Cloud III - Disappointed from the sound quality

Got my fresh new Cloud III Headset after my Cloud II (the old original revision) started breaking apart. Sadly, the sound quality is way worse for myself in comparison to the Cloud II. The old one just sounded way more powerful and more pleasing. And in addition to that, for some reason they are even remarkable quieter?

Funnily enough the loudness can be enhanced by using the old USB sound card from the Cloud II, but the sound quality is still worse sadly. But this gives me hope that some of these issues could be a software issue and be fixed with future updates. But right now its really a disappointment.

But what I can really praise is the new microphone. Sounds way clearer and more natural, especially the sharp sounds like "s" or "c". And I'm happy that the mic has no foam anymore but a built-in metal mesh.

If someone finds a good equalizer setting to improve the sound quality on the Cloud III please let me know. Im kinda tone-deaf fiddling around with that for myself.
