Smile 2 - Nightmare on Elm Street reference?

Just finished watching Smile 2. I wasn’t a huge fan of the first, so I was putting it off - but I really liked it. Some great directing - especially that first long shot.

Anyway - when Skye is in the bar talking to Morris, there’s scratchiti on the booth’s seat that says, “you’re fucked” - reminded me of the scene in NOES 6 when Carlos opens the map and it says that.
