Story length issue and how to solve it

so i have already seen people complain about story length(as during Penacony) so i am writing this because i have an easy solution for it, it's called DON'T DO IT IN ONE SITTING OR TWO EVEN, NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO DO 6+ HOURS OF QUEST IN ONE SITTING, TAKE YOUR TIME....it's that easy

why are people playing like their life depends on it lol? even streamers don't have to force themselves to do it in one sitting and yet they do, i know they have more pressure cuz they want to get content out as fast as possible but when you are doing that, you consciously choose to put your own content over your own enjoyment, complaining about story is one thing but complaining about length of the story is ridiculous in that case.

so i can understand streamers doing it in one sitting(albeit they have barely any right to complain about it then) but normal players doing it one sitting and then complaining? that's fully their problem, nobody is forcing you, just chill and take your time, play whenever u want to and continue whenever u feel like it, where's the rush? if you don't want to do 6 hours of story in one go, nobody is forcing you. put your own enjoyment above your grind or put your grind above your enjoyment but don't complain about the length and suffering of your enjoyment then.
