GHSV1/frustration/disclosure etc.

Guys, I'm Brazilian and I had type 1 genital herpes from my partner who had cold sores and how frustrated I was with it was absurd, but it was only after I came across how the United States deals with it, from 7 people that I disclosed (in the case of friendship because I'm still with him and I don't intend to separate) of the 7, only 2 didn't have genital herpes and those 2 didn't take a herpes test before.. when I spoke to people here they say that I'm exaggerating A LOT because almost no one here sees it that way. And another thing here in my country there isn't much publicity about herpes and everyone says it's not something to talk about if you've had it treated straight away, much less type 1 herpes, literally ALL the doctors I talked to said that to me. (I'm not saying what is right or wrong because I don't disclose anything) but people tell me that this isn't even considered, just so you can see that in different countries different cultures...(it's not everyone's reality but it really is very "I don't I call herpes here.)
