Omg… I finally found the perfect pet shop!
For a while I’ve been outraged at the ridiculous prices of Petsmart and Petco hermit crabs. I have to buy them a lot because they have such a short lifespan so I replace them to keep my daughter from freaking out. She thinks they’re all the same one and they just keep changing shells 🤣 But Fins On Fifth in Hendersonville, NC makes me proud to support a local small business! They don’t bother with all the extra stuff Petsmart/Petco put in the tank (pretty sure they don’t need any dirt 🙄) so they can pass the savings on to the customer! They have lots of other awesome animals too, like sugar gliders and axolotls, so you KNOW they know what they’re doing. They even helped me pick out a betta + awesome tank like the one in the pic for my job’s white elephant party last month. Amazing service!
