No Hemochromatosis but constantly high ferritin

Hi all. 29 y/o M with constantly high ferritin. I've had genetic testing done 3 times, and all came back negative. It seems like if I donate blood every 3 months (all I can not having a blood bank near) I keep my ferritin under 1000. It drops to about 420-480 after each donation, but climbs back up to 800-900 before I donate again. Doctors won't prescribe me for phlebotomies since I don't have HH, but I also don't have any inflammation markers coming up that rule out autoimmune disorders (so I'm told). Have all the common symptoms, tired, aching, digestive issues, low libido. Can you have high ferritin without HH?
