Credits Cheater

I was in a public lobby a few minutes ago and someone was dropping infinite resupply pods, but each of these had a super credits pile instead of one of the resupply boxes. When they were picked up they were given to everybody just like normal pickups, so I finished with over 300 super credits from one game. Could I be banned for this?
