Super Sample on Illuminate Front

I have yet to find the Super Sample locations on any of my Illuminate dives.

I was assuming they would spawn around one of the those oblong rocks outside the city limits but have run multiple times around each map and can't find them.

Could be that Im not spotting them through the fog, but could someone clue me in if they drop differently than what I assumed? Would love to be able to farm super samples while still fighting Illuminate.
