Lipoma surgery

In 2024 I developed a bulge on the side of my neck. It was checked benign and they said it's fatty tissue that can be surgically removed. I don't really understand Healthcare that much, and am wondering what to look for when choosing a plan. I would like to have this surgically removed in 2025 so should I find something within the plan itself, or start calling up hospitals/docs to see how much they charge for this?
