Dry flakes on scalp but oily hair

Hi everyone! For a few months I’ve been struggling with a flakey scalp. The flakes are really small and dry which is weird since generally my roots have always been oily.

My ends,however, are on the drier side. I’ve tried using dandruff shampoo and while it has helped with the flakes I can’t use it everytime I wash my hair ( which is 1/2 times a week) because so far the ones I have tried did not agree with my oily roots.

Like when I touch my scalp I can feel that it’s dry and flakey but when I touch my roots they are very oily so I don’t know how it could even be possibile.What could possibly be the cause and what products would you recommend?

I’ve been thinking about going to a dermatologist who is also experienced in trichology but I’m adamant since I feel like it’s not really that big of a deal. It’s starting to bother me tho.

For reference I have a lot of hair,it’s wavy but my individual strands are thin and I live in Europe so I don’t have access to a lot of product available in the us or in Asian countries.
