Best bedroom amp for metal

Hi, probably beating a dead horse here, but I’m looking for advice on a good amp to get. I’m getting back into playing and wanna get a good setup for my bedroom to play metal. I’m talking Lamb of God, Kublai Kahn TX, Slipknot type stuff. I’m about to pull the trigger on an ESP, and I kinda don’t know where to begin with the amp. I know some people say Boss Katana, others say Peavey Vypyr and yet others swear by Orange. Any insight is appreciated. Looking for something under about $400. Also I know a lot of people are on the audio interface thing, but I’m technologically retarded when it comes to stuff like that. Thanks!
